We are looking for a Junior GenAI Engineer to join our GenAI & Data practice, working alongside senior engineers, data scientists and our GenAI Architect on production agentic AI systems.

Our work applies Generative AI to real business problems for the world's banks, asset managers and luxury retailers. This is a structured entry-level track for graduating or recently-graduated engineers who want to build agent engineering skills on live client work, not in a sandbox, with a clear path to a full GenAI Engineer role.

What you’ll do

  1. 01Support the build and testing of agentic AI workflows (task planning, memory, state handling) alongside senior engineers, primarily using LangGraph.
  2. 02Write and maintain Python code for LLM integrations, prompt templates and tool/function-calling logic.
  3. 03Help build and evaluate RAG pipeline components: chunking strategies, embeddings and vector store integration.
  4. 04Assist in measuring agent performance (accuracy, latency, cost, hallucination rate) using observability tooling such as LangSmith, and document what you find.
  5. 05Support deployment tasks on Google Cloud Platform (Vertex AI, Cloud Functions, BigQuery) under senior guidance.
  6. 06Prepare test cases, technical documentation and demo materials for internal and client-facing reviews.
  7. 07Join code reviews, sprint planning and practice-wide knowledge shares.
  8. 08Spend dedicated time each week studying new LLM and agent frameworks and bring relevant findings back to the team.

What you’ll bring

  • A degree (completed or graduating within 6 months) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, AI/ML or a related field.
  • Solid Python fundamentals and comfort with everyday engineering practice: git, debugging, writing and reading tests.
  • Hands-on exposure to LLMs or generative AI through coursework, a personal project, a hackathon, a thesis/capstone, or an internship - a GitHub link or write-up you can walk us through is ideal.
  • Working understanding of core GenAI concepts: prompt engineering, embeddings, RAG, function/tool calling.
  • Genuine curiosity about how agentic systems are engineered, not just familiarity with using AI tools.
  • Comfort working with ambiguity: this field moves fast, and we are often building the playbook as we go.
  • Good written and spoken English.
Nice to have
  • Exposure to LangGraph, LangChain or LlamaIndex.
  • Familiarity with a cloud platform (GCP, AWS or Azure), especially Vertex AI.
  • Experience with a vector database (Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma, pgvector or similar).
  • Awareness of Google's A2A protocol or Agent Development Kit (ADK).
  • A competition, thesis, open-source contribution or side project involving generative AI or autonomous agents you're proud of.

The offer

A named mentor from our GenAI Engineer or GenAI Architect group for the full onboarding period.
Real client work from day one - financial services and retail engagements across Asia, not internal exercises.
A clear, performance-based path to a full GenAI Engineer role within the practice.
Competitive entry-level compensation and medical insurance.
Exposure to the full GenAI & Data practice: consultants, architects and engineers working the same accounts.
A flexible, remote-friendly working culture with sponsored team events.
